The windswept shores and clifftops of Kangaroo Island are home to some of the world’s most durable plants, amongst them the tenacious Kangaroo Island Honey Myrtle. Often resembling a large species of bonsai and amongst the smallest, though oldest of plants, it endures extreme conditions cracking coastal cliff faces with its roots to reach salt water on which it can survive.
