Double sided cuttlefish cast sterling silver pendant, 4 x 2.1 cm, on sterling silver snake chain
Note – chain dimensions 1.6 mm X 45 cm long, combined weight of pendant and chain = 62 grams
The largest of the Australian Seahorses, the Big-Belly or pot bellied seahorse is relatively common in Kangaroo Island waters, but often hard to see, so easily camouflaged against the background of corals, sponges, algae and sea grasses.
This piece is double sided, cast in cuttlefish bone, and having a similar form on the front and back.
