Art For Resale – Recognised Kangaroo Island Art Reseller

Kangaroo Island Artists Work for Resale

Fine Art Kangaroo Island is a recognised reseller of art with a connection to Kangaroo Island. We welcome the opportunity to offer past works by Kangaroo Island artists or visiting artists. We are specially interested in works produced on island since 1990.

All resales with a sales value of $1000 or more (including GST) are to be reported to Copyright Agency within 90 days of the sales event. It is the responsibility of either the seller or agent to do this regardless of whether a 5% royalty will be payable to the artist or their estate. All fine art resales are subject to the requirements of the Copyright Agency Resale Royalty Scheme

As part of our consultancy Fine Art Kangaroo Island manages all aspects of the resale and will pay any fees due as part of our standard agent’s retainer.

Prior to sale Fine Art Kangaroo Island will assess the works to recommend a retail value at point of sale, on the island,  within the current market conditions. Contact the gallery for a no obligation appraisal. For a fuller market evaluation we recommend a specialist fine art dealer.

If you have an interest in art for resale, check this page from time to time for artists whose past works we may be holding.
