Kangaroo Island Art Exhibition Entry Form Revised as Event Rescheduled for Easter 2021
Kangaroo Island Easter Art Exhibition, On The Edge has been rescheduled and will return to its usual Easter timing in 2021.
The Biannual exhibition was originally scheduled for April 2020. But with the Island and it’s arts community devastated by a bushfire emergency like none before, the organising committee took the difficult decision to postpone the exhibition until the Spring. With the added complication of the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee has met again and today announced the event will be moved to Easter, 2021.
The Kangaroo Island exhibition will now celebrate its official opening on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 and a revised edition of the official entry form has been released.
In the aftermath of the summer bushfires, and then the near shutdown of the island’s tourism, arts, and food and wine industries in the face of the corona virus pandemic, members of the Kangaroo Island Artists Collective and the official organising committee have continued working to ensure a bright future for the event.
